Sixty Second Difference
Every seven seconds 911 is called. On average, it takes 8 minutes for an ambulance to respond to that emergency. In rural regions of Minnesota, that response time can double or triple. Through Alexis’s experience responding to emergencies in Chicago, Illinois and Minneapolis, MN, she learned that those seconds matter.
So, Paramedic and American Heart Association Instructor, Alexis Lombard established her Community Service Initiative, Sixty Second Difference, teaching Minnesotans lifesaving skills that create a sixty second difference and save lives.
